Đak Nong

With the event of UNESCO recognizing Dak Nong Geological Park as a global geopark, UNESCO Dak Nong has contributed to positioning the global value and prestige of tourism for Dak Nong province. Dak Nong boasts a system of caves that still retain their pristine beauty, precious stone mines, mineral mines, and the majestic scenery of waterfalls such as Dray Sap, Gia Long, Lua, Luu Ly, Bay Tang, as well as national parks like Ta Dung, Nam Cat Tien, and the Nham Nung Nature Reserve with diverse and rare forest ecosystems and wildlife species such as leopards, gibbons, and langurs. In addition, the unique geological values, associated with the formation of cave systems (over 100 caves), sapphire mines, alumina mines, wolfram mines, formed by volcanic eruptions around 3.5 million years ago, are also distinctive features of the geological park.

Furthermore, the unique cultural heritage, including tangible and intangible cultural values such as the Tay Nguyen Gong Culture Space, the Ot N'drong Epic, Nau M'pring folk songs, observing artisans perform stone carving, traditional weaving, and bamboo knitting, as well as the diverse and rich traditional cuisine of ethnic minority communities living here, are also factors attracting tourists from both domestic and international markets.
