Fansipan

Fansipan is located about 9 km southwest of Sa Pa town, bordering the provinces of Lao Cai and Lai Chau. Local ethnic people here call Fansipan "Hủa Xi Pan," meaning "giant protruding rock slab."

Standing at 3,143 meters above sea level, Fansipan is situated in the center of the 280 km-long Hoang Lien Son mountain range. It is the highest mountain in Vietnam and is known as the "Roof of Indochina." The peak mesmerizes visitors with its majestic natural landscapes and is a never-ending passion for adventure seekers and mountaineers.

Currently, to reach the summit of Fansipan, tourists can choose to trek from Hoang Lien National Park or take the cable car from Fansipan cable car station, depending on their preferences and physical condition.
