West Lake

West Lake is located in the northwest of Hanoi, in Tay Ho district, approximately 11km from the city center. It is the largest natural lake in Hanoi, covering an area of up to 500 hectares with a circumference of about 14.8km. The lake is surrounded by several roads including Thanh Nien, Thuy Khue, Au Co, Nghi Tam, and Lac Long Quan. Previously, this area was part of the Red River, but after a change in course, it became a large freshwater lake as it is today.

West Lake is known as one of the most attractive destinations in the capital city, with beautiful landscapes, romantic spaces, and many recreational activities: duck peddling, stand-up paddleboarding, water park fun, visiting ancient villages, and exploring local cuisine...
