Cuc Phuong
Cuc Phuong National Park is located in the Northeastern region of Vietnam, bordering the Northwest mountainous area, spanning the provinces of Ninh Bình, Hòa Bình, and Thanh Hóa. Covering a total area of 22,408 hectares, it boasts captivating natural beauty and diverse ecosystems. Cúc Phương National Park is nestled amidst the majestic Tam Điệp mountain range and officially became Vietnam's first national park on July 7, 1962.
Nature has endowed Cuc Phuong National Park with a rich and diverse ecosystem. It is home to 2,234 species of higher plants and mosses, 122 species of reptiles and amphibians, 66 fish species, nearly 2,000 species of insects, 135 mammal species, and 336 resident bird species. Many of these species are listed in the Red Book, making it a fascinating destination for nature enthusiasts.
