Dong Van Stone Plateau

The Dong Van Karst Plateau spans over 4 highland districts of Ha Giang province: Quan Ba, Yen Minh, Meo Vac, and Dong Van, situated at an average elevation of 1,000 - 1,600 meters above sea level across an area of over 2,354 km². This is one of Vietnam's unique limestone regions, captivating tourists and scientific researchers alike for its significant geological history, natural phenomena, spectacular landscapes, and high biodiversity.

Due to its geological, topographical, biological diversity, and unique cultural values, the Dong Van Karst Plateau in Ha Giang province became Vietnam's first Global Geopark on October 1, 2010.
