Tan Trao
The historical site of Tan Trao, where President Ho Chi Minh and central agencies lived and worked during the pre-revolutionary and anti-French resistance periods, spans across several communes: Tan Trao, Minh Thanh, Trung Yen, Binh Yen, Luong Thien (in Son Duong district); Kim Quan, Trung Son, Hung Loi, Trung Minh, Dao Vien, Cong Da, Phu Thinh (in Yen Son district). It also marks the boundary between Thai Nguyen and Bac Kan provinces.
Today, Tan Trao boasts over 17 historical relics. Key sites include Lan Na Lua, the Tan Trao banyan tree, Tan Trao communal house, and Hong Thai communal house, among others. These historical relics commemorate the heroic resistance of our nation over the course of 9 years. The Tan Trao National Historical-Cultural and Ecological Site is a focal point for heritage tourism.
