Ham Rong

Ham Rong Mountain is a dragon-head-shaped mountain located right next to the center of Sapa town. It is also a famous eco-tourism area in the beautiful land of Sapa. It is one of the few mountains in Vietnam with a clear and beautiful shape. The mountain is named Ham Rong because, from a distance, the rocky peaks align naturally, resembling a dragon's head reaching towards the blue sky.

Ham Rong Mountain comprises three main areas: Ham Rong Flower Garden, Thach Lam Rock Garden, and Ham Rong Peak, where visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of Sapa from above.

Ham Rong Flower Garden is designed according to the natural terrain of the mountain. To reach this garden, visitors must traverse hundreds of stone steps. Along the way, the landscape opens up like a miniature plateau, vibrant with countless flowers. Each season brings different flowers, offering visitors unique and varied experiences.

Thach Lam Rock Garden is a unique area with many bizarre rock formations that nature has whimsically arranged. These formations inspire imaginative interpretations of dragon claws and scales. Walking through the forest of standing stones, visitors may feel the mysterious and eerie atmosphere, as if lost in a labyrinth.

After a challenging journey of 1 km, overcoming the rugged path, visitors finally reach Ham Rong Peak, also known as Cloud Yard. This area is arranged like an observation hut. Here, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the beautiful town of Sapa and the drifting clouds.
