Nguom Ngao Cave is located in Gun village, Dam Thuy commune, Trung Khanh district, Cao Bang province. The cave was formed around 300 million years ago and has a total length of 2144 meters, consisting of three main entrances: Nguom Ngao, Nguom Lom, and Ban Thuon.

The best time to visit Ngườm Ngao Cave


Cao Bang experiences two distinct seasons: the rainy season and the dry season. However, Nguom Ngao Cave exhibits its captivating beauty in each season. The rainy season lasts from May to September, during which there are abundant water streams flowing through Nguom Ngao Cave, making it more lively than ever. The powerful flow of water, illuminated by sunlight, creates a dazzling landscape inside the cave, resembling sparkling gemstones.

During the dry season from October to April of the following year, Nguom Ngao Cave no longer has flowing water and becomes very dry. This makes it much more convenient and easier for tourists to move around and explore the cave.
